Four Bantams Earn All-New England Honors For Men's Outdoor Track

Springfield, Mass. - Freshman Michael Burnstein (Brookline, Mass.) finished second in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 32:24.63 to lead the Trinity College Bantams to 15th place in the New England Division III Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championship Meet this weekend at Springfield College. Trinity finished with 19 points, which was just two shy of 14th-place Amherst. Williams won the meet with 136.67 points.
Trinity junior Sam Pegram (Wayland, Mass.) added a third-place distance of 22'09.25", while sophomore Michael Goulet (Glastonbury, Conn.) came in fifth place in the shot put with a heave of 45'09.25", and senior Sam Moorhead (Dedham, Mass.) came in eighth place in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:01.76. All four earn All-New England recognition for their fine performances.
