Trinity Men's Track Distance Medley Relayers Take 5th At Nationals
Terre Haute, Ind. - The Trinity College distance medley relay team finished fifth with a time of 10:05.05 in the NCAA Division III National Championship Meet at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology this afternoon. Trinity senior tri-captain Hunter Norte (Ellington, Conn.), senior Sam Moorhead (Dedham, Mass.), junior tri-captain Alex Baillargeon (Westbrook, Maine), and sophomore Brendan Powers (Middleton, Mass.) recorded finished .27 seconds behind the fourth-place relay team from Muhlenberg and 8.26 seconds shy of the event winners from Wisc.-Oshkosh. All four earn All-American honors for their fine performance. Trinity earned four points to finish 48th as a team in the meet.
