  • Trinity Men's Track and Field 2015-16 Season Recap

    Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College men's track and field team had another successful 2015-16 indoor and outdoor season, compiling six top-five finishes between the two seasons. During the indoor season, the Bantams finished 19th of 26 teams at the New England Division III Indoor Championships and sent senior co-captain Patrick Hoagland (San Diego, Calif.) to the NCAA Championships in Iowa. In the spring, Trinity had two runners earn All-New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) honors while the team finished tied for sixth out of 28 schools at the New England Division III Outdoor Championships.

Women's lacrosse sophomore midfielder Allie Barrett (Concord, Mass.) and men's track and field sophomore Kyle Larsson (Franklin Lakes, N.J.) have been named as the Bantams of the Week.

    Hartford, Conn. – The Trinity College spring athletic teams placed 64 student-athletes on the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) 2015-16 Spring All-Academic Team. To be honored, an individual must have reached sophomore academic standing and be a varsity letter winner with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.35. A transfer student must have completed one year of study at the institution.

    Amherst, Mass. - Freshman Alex Tomcho (Windsor, Conn.) took second place in both the 100 and 200-meter dashes to earn All-New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) today at the men's track and field NESCAC Championships hosted by Amherst College. Tomcho earned 18 team points for Trinity who finished ninth in the team standings, totaling 29 points. Williams won the team title with a whopping 207 points.
