Williamstown, Mass. - First-year Ace McAlister (Great Barrington, Mass.) finished eighth in the 5,000-meter run to collect All-New England honors and lead the Trinity College men's track and field team at the New England Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships over the weekend at Williams College. McAlister was the lone Bantam to collect All-Region honors but several Trinity runners just missed top-eight finishes. Sophomore Ben Feola (Woodbridge, Conn.) finished 12th in the 400-meter dash with a finals time of 49.48, just .31 seconds off a top-eight time. Trinity's 4x100-meter relay team, consisting of Feola, classmates Luke Mayer (Morristown, N.J.) and Samuel Oyebefun (Basseterre, St. Kitts & Nevis), and junior captain Daniel Hughes (Hagley, England), finished 10th in a tightly contested race.
