Trinity Men's Outdoor Track And Field Competes In New England Open Championship Meet

Williamstown, Mass. - Trinity College first-year Ace McAlister ran a personal record time of 14:53.43 to finish in 11th place and fifth among NCAA Division III runners, in the 5,000-meter run, as the Trinity College Bantams competed in the News England Open Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championships this weekend at Williams College. Bantam sophomore Luke Mayer (Morristown, N.J.) added a 15th-place time of 15.17 in the 110-meter hurdles and classmate Ben Feola (Woodbridge, Conn.) was 22nd in the 400-meter dash with a time of 50.10.  Feola, Mayer, junior co-captain Daniel Hughes (Hagley, England), and sophomore Samuel Oyebefun (Basseterre, St. Kitts & St. Nevis) recorded a 10th-place time of 43.28 in the 4x100-meter relay
