Trinity Trio Leads Bantams To Second In Pre-National Meet
Hanover, Ind. - Three Bantam harriers finished seventh to ninth overall less than six seconds apart to lead the Trinity College men's cross country team to a second-place finish in the Hanover College Pre-National Invitational Meet this afternoon.
Trinity men received 62 points, which was 44 shy of first-place Allegheny and 30 ahead of third-place Mount Union. Freshman Michael Burstein (Brookline, Mass.) came in seventh with a time of 25:50.29, followed by senior co-captains Sam Moorhead (Dedham, Mass.) and Hunter Norte (Ellington, Conn.) in eighth and ninth, respectively, separated by just .02 seconds at 25:56.02 and 25:56.04. Bantam sophomore Brendan Powers (Middleton, Mass.) added a 3oth-place finish with a time of 26:31.99.
