Powers And Fisher Lead Trinity Men's X-Country To Fourth At Saratoga


Saratoga Springs, N.Y. - Junior co-captain Brendan Powers (Middleton, Mass.) and junior Blake Fisher (Naperville, Ill.) finished 18 and 19th, respectively, to lead the Trinity College Bantams to fourth place as a team in the men's race at the Saratoga Cross Country Invitational at Saratoga Spa State Park this afternoon.  Powers came in at 26:44 and Fisher finished 1.05 seconds later, while sophomore Dan Scully (Amston, Conn.) came in 22nd place with a time of 26:56 and senior co-captain Ryan Lane (Weston, Conn.) was 23rd at 27:07.  The Bantams totaled 120 points, which was ten ahead of fifth-place Vassar.  Keene State won the meet with 23 points.
