Scully Leads Trinity Men's Cross Country In Season-Opening Home Meet

Manchester, Conn. - Sophomore Dan Scully (Amston, Conn.) finished eighth overall with a time of 16:33 in the 5,000-meter race and junior tri-captain Brendan Powers (Middleton, Mass.) finished 10th overall with a time of 16:39, to lead the Trinity College Bantams to sixth place in their home men's cross country invitational this morning at Wickham Park.

Division II foes Stonehill and American International shared the top seven places in the men's standings, and Glarius Rop, of AIC, won the race with a time of 15:35.  Trinity finished with 132 points, edging out Division I Rhode Island for sixth place.
