Trinity Men's Cross Country And Track And Field Alum Named To Team USA

Hartford, Conn. - Former Trinity College men's cross country and track and field star Ryan Bak '03 has been selected to Team USA for the 25th Bupa Great Edinburgh Cross Country Race in Scotland on Saturday, January 11.  Bak, the 2002 NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Champion, has established himself as one of the top distance runners in the nation over the last few years.  2014 will be the 25th staging of the Great International XCountry event, which has featured some of the world's best athletes since its inception in 1988. Taking place in the picturesque surroundings of Holyrood Park, the Bupa Great Edinburgh XCountry  also features a Men's International 4K and a mass participation 5k, the Bupa Great Winter Run, which will see around 2,500 amateur runners tackle a multi-terrain course ahead of the elite races.
