Trinity Men's Cross Country Places 16th At NCAA Regional Championships

Gorham, Maine – Sophomore Ace McAlister (Great Barrington, Mass.) finished 57th overall with a time of 26:27.3 over 8,000 meters to lead the Trinity College Bantams to 16th place as a squad in the NCAA Division III New England Men’s Cross Country Championship Meet at Gorham Country Club this afternoon.  Trinity totaled 462 points to edge 17th-place Wentworth by one point and was three shy of 15th-place Colby.  MIT won the team title with 81 points.  

Trinity junior Lucas Duros (Wilmette, Ill.) added a 98th-place time of 27:09.0, immediately followed by classmate Joe Ruggiero (Manchester, Conn.) in 99th at 27:09.2, and sophomore Timothy Bogomolov (Lynn, Mass.) in 100th at 27:10.6.  The event concludes the 2017 men’s cross country season for the Bantams.
