Trinity Softball Drops Pair At ECSU To Close 2009 Campaign
Willimantic, Conn. - The Trinity College Bantams lost both games of their season-ending softball doubleheader this evening against the Eastern Connecticut State University Warriors, 5/1-2/0. Visiting Trinity finishes with a 14-17 record.
Sophomore 2B Katherine Stoltenberg (Montgomery, N.J.) went 5-for-7 in the two games and classmate Kristen Anderson (West Haven, Conn.) tossed a complete game, allowing seven hits in a hard-luck loss in the nightcap for the Bantams. Trinity senior co-captain C Ariana Mullin (Woodbridge, Conn.) had two hits in game two.
