Trinity Softball Drops Pair To Open 2010 Season

Clermont, Fla. – The Trinity College Bantams dropped the first two softball games of the 2010 season, 4-1, against the Rhode Island College Anchormen and, 6-4, against the Hope College Flying Dutch in the National Training Center Games.  Trinity senior CF Jessica Tait (North Salem, N.Y.) tripled in each game, while sophomore RHP Katherine Poulos (Wilton, Conn.) relieved in both games and struck out five of the eight batters she faced.  Freshman OF Amelia Mostovoy (San Francisco, Calif.) went 2-for-3 with a pair of stolen bases against Hope.
