Trinity's Riendeau-Card Named As NESCAC, ECAC Softball Player Of The Week
Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College first-year Miranda Riendeau-Card (Bowdoinham, Maine) was honored as both the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) and the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Softball Player of the Week. In a 4-0 week for the Bantams, Riendeau-Card batted .500 (7-for-14) with four home runs (1.429 slugging), seven runs scored, and 10 driven in, as Trinity posted doubleheader sweeps of Wesleyan and Western New England. Against the Cardinals, Riendeau-Card went 3-for-6 with two runs, two home runs, a double, and five RBI. She went 4-for-8 in the sweep of the Golden Bears, homering in each game. Riendeau-Card was also stellar in the fi eld, handling 25 chances flawlessly.
