Trinity's Davis, Bantam Alum Bates To Join New England Basketball Hall Of Fame

Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College women's basketball coach Wendy Davis and men's basketball alum Jim Bates will each be Ronald Perry inductees into the 2009 New England Basketball Hall of Fame, when this year's class is honored at the organization's brunch, dinner and induction ceremony on October 9 at the Mohegan Sun.

Trinity Women's Basketball Completes Best Season In Nine Years

Hartford, Conn., July 28, 2009 – The Trinity College women’s basketball team, coached by Wendy Davis (4th Season), posted its best regular season record since 1999-00 at 17-8 and finished tied with Wesleyan and Colby for fifth in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) at 4-5.

Women's Basketball Head Coach Wendy Davis Featured in Sports Illustrated UConn Commemorative Edition

Hartford, Conn. - Wendy Davis, head coach of the women's basketball team at Trinity, was featured in a recent Sports Illustrated article in the commemorative issue celebrating the University of connecticut women's basketball perfect season and National Championship.





Our women's basketball squad, under the leadership of Coach Wendy Davis, is earning its respect in the NESCAC and the New England region. The team is a frequent post-season
contender, featuring an aggressive, high-pressure style defense with an up-tempo offense. The 2008-09 team finished with its best overall record in nine years at 17-8, earned its sixth post-season bid in the last eight years, and advanced to its first NESCAC Semifinals.
