Trinity's NCAA Champion Women's Lacrosse Continues To Generate Media Headlines

Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College women's lacrosse team, which won the program's first NCAA Division III Championship title with an 8-7 victory against Salisbury on May 20, will be one of the featured teams on the NCAA Spring Highlight Show to be aired nationally Sunday, June 17 at 4 p.m. on all CBS stations including Hartford's WFSB Channel 3.

The Bantams, coached by Kate Livesay, and and several of its players have been the subject of feature articles in the Boston Globe, The Hartford Courant, and other media outlets this spring. Senior co-captain Liz Bruno and senior Caite Irvine were recently the subject of feature stories in the Boston Globe and the Lawrence Eagle-Tribune, while first-year Caroline Hayes was featured in the Portsmouth Herald, and sophomore Midge Daniel was featured in the Wellesley Townsman.  The team was profiled in the Hartford Courant, and everal articles appeared surrounding the squad's march to the NCAA title as well.
