Trinity Wrestling Falls To RIC And Bridgewater To Close Dual Match Season
Bridgewater, Mass. - The Trinity College Bantam wrestling team lost matches to the Bridgewater State College Bears, 30-22, and the Rhode Island College Anchormen, 39-12, to close the dual match season this afternoon at Bridgewater State. Trinity ends the regular season with a 5-16 record.
Trinity senior co-captain Patrick Kumf (Milford, Mass.), junior co-captain Jacob Gire (Union City, Calif.), and freshman Greg Vaughan (Hingham, Mass.) won two matches apiece at 197, 149, and heavyweight. Sophomore 125-pounder Max Walk (Paoli, Pa.) won his match against Bridgewater.
