Trinity Women's Rowing Trounces NESCAC Trio To Close Dual Season
Worcester, Mass. - The Trinity College women's varsity eight crew finished first in a four-boat race of NESCAC teams on Lake Quinsigamond to close the 2009 dual season with a 12-1 record.
The Bantam eight finished 13.6 seconds ahead of second-place Wesleyan and well before fellow league rivals Connecticut College and Bowdoin. In fours, Trinity's varsity finished second behind Bowdoin and ahead of Clark and Connecticut College, while the Bantam second varsity eight won its race against Wesleyan.
