Trinity Women's Rowing Wins Collegiate Fours Event At Head Of The Charles
Cambridge, Mass. - The Trinity College women's rowing collegiate fours+ entry won its event at the Head of The Charles Regatta on Saturday afternoon. The athletes were senior co-captain Stephanie Apstein (Waban, Mass.) at coxswain, senior co-captain Ellie Wierzbowski (Walpole, N.H.), senior Deede Dixon (Manchester, Mass.), junior Mina Aiken (Palm Beach, Fla.), and freshman Michelle Johnson (Long Beach, Calif.). Trinity's boat finished with a time of 19:15.67, which was over 14 seconds faster than second-place Dowling. The Bantam eights entry finished 24th in its event on Sunday.
