Trinity Women's Varsity Eight Crews Finish Behind Bates
Worcester, Mass. - The Trinity College women's rowing first varsity eight and second varsity eigth crews each finished second of five boats in its races today on Lake Quinsigamond. The Bantam first varsity posted a time of 6:55.5, which was 5.1 seconds behind first-place Bates College and 6.5 seconds faster then third-place New Hampshire, while the Bantam second varsity finished 4.2 seconds after Bates and over 10 seconds before New Hampshire with a time of 7:09.4. BAtes is ranked No. 3 in the nation and Trinity is ranked No. 4. The Trinity freshman eight lost its race to New Hampshire by 8.2 seconds with a time of 7:27.6.
