Trinity Women's Rowing Keeps Emerson Cup In Hartford Against State NESCAC Schools
Worcester, Mass. - The Trinity College women's rowing first varsity eight defeated New England Small College Athletic Conference rivals Connecticut College and Wesleyan in the annual dual-season-ending race on Lake Quinsigamond this morning. The Bantam first varsity eight finished 4.2 seconds ahead of Wesleyan and well ahead of Connecticut College to retain the Emerson Cup, while Trinity's second varsity eight and novice eight were also winners. In fours, the Bantam varsity boat finished fourth against Bowdoin, Connecticut College, and event-host Clark.
