Trinity Women's Crews Compete With Division I Opponents At Knecht Cup

Cherry Hill, N.J. - The Trinity College Bantam entry in the DII/DIII event at the Knecht Cup finished sixth in its finals race at the Knecht Cup on Cooper River this afternoon with time of 7:28.95, which was 1.55 seconds shy of fifth-place New Jersey. Trinity's second varsity eight recorded a sixth-place finish in the petit final at 7:13.53, while the first varsity barely missed out on qualifying for its semifinal race with a fourth-place time of 6:58.86 competing against 29 Division I opponents and one Division II boat.  The second varsity finished third in its preliminary heat at 7:00.49 and fourth in its semifinal at 7:07.56 to qualify for the petit final.
