Trinity Women's Rowing Takes Three Wins Against Wesleyan

Salem, Conn. - The Trinity College women's novice-four crew finished 12.02 seconds faster at 7:37.99 in a dual race against Wesleyan University this morning.  The Bantams also won close competitions in the second- and third-varsity-eight races, while Wesleyan won the varsity-eight race.  Trinity's second varsity won at 6:36.37, edging Wesleyan's boat that came across at 6:39.15, while the third-varsity eight won by 1.4 seconds at 6:49.29.  No. 8-ranked Wesleyan posted a winning time of 6:25.13, defeating Trinity's No. 6-ranked varsity eight by 4.98 seconds. Racing took place on flat water with a 10 mph tail wind.
