Trinity Women's Rowing Completes Perfect Dual-Race With Emerson Cup Win

Middletown, Conn. – The Trinity College Bantam women's varsity-eight crew finished first in a two-boat race downstream on the Connecticut River against the Wesleyan University Cardinals this morning in the Trudy Emerson Cup. With a 5 mph tailwind, Trinity finished 5.1 seconds faster than Wesleyan with a time of 6:11.2, while Trinity’s second-varsity eight also took first in a two-boat race against the Cardinals, besting Wesleyan by 6.2 seconds with a time of 6:17.5.
