Trinity Women's Soccer Loses To Willams On Two Late Goals

Hartford, Conn. – Senior Chloe Kuh (Newton, Mass.) scored the game-winning goal in the 86th minute, just 3:35 after junior teammate Hayley Cook (Virginia Beach, Va.) had tied the game at 1-1, as the visiting Williams College Ephs recorded a 2-1 victory over the Trinity College Bantams in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) women’s soccer action this afternoon. Trinity drops to 1-2 overall and 0-2 in the NESCAC, while the Ephs, ranked No. 8 in New England, improve to 2-2 overall and 2-0 in the league.

Trinity opened the scoring 17:55 into the game, when first-year Abbey Lake (Westport, Conn.) scored from sophomore forward Elisa Dolan (Bethesda, Md.).  The score did not change for nearly 65 minutes before Cook tallied from senior co-captain Caitlyn Clark (Middleton, Mass.) with 7:20 left in the second half.

Williams held a 17-9 shot advantage, as Trinity rookie Monica DeFiori (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) made six saves in the Bantam goal.  Senior Laura Wann (Palos Verdes, Calif.) had two stops for the Ephs.
