Trinity Women's Squash Takes Third At Howe Cup With Win Over Penn
Cambridge, Mass. - The Trinity College women's squash team posted a 5-4 win over the University of Pennsylvania Quakers in the third place match of the College Squash Association (CSA) National Team Championships (Howe Cup) at Harvard University this afternoon. Trinity completes the season with a 12-3 record.
Freshman Andrea Achevarria (San Salvador, El Salvador) dominated the No. 9 match, allowing just three points scored against her in a 3-0 triumph, while junior co-captain Jo-Ann Jee (Kuching, Malaysia), junior Emily Paton (Victoria, British Columbia), and sophomore Robyn Williams (Bulawayo, Zimbabwe) each posted victories in three games. Trinity freshman No. 1 Nour Bahgat (Cairo, Egypt) won, 3-1.
