Trinity Women's Squash Loses At Harvard
Cambridge, Mass. - Junior Emily Paton (Victoria, British Columbia) and freshman Nour Bahgat (Cairo, Egypt) posted wins, as the visiting Trinity College Bantams dropped a 7-2 decision against the Harvard University Crimson in women's squash action this evening at Muir Courts. Trinity, ranked No. 3 in the nation, falls to 10-2 with its first loss in four matches, while the Crimson, ranked No. 4 nationally, stays perfect at 6-0.
Harvard took five of the first six matches to clinch the contest early, although Paton bested Sandra Munamachit (Narberth, Pa.), 3-2, in the No. 8 match despite losing the first two games, 9-5, and, 9-1. Bhagat won easily over Nirasha Guruge (Colombo, Sri Lanka) in the No. 1 position, while Trinity sophomore Nayelly Hernandez (San Luis Potosi, Mexico) took the No. 3 match to five games, and five other Bantams forced four games.
