Hartford, Conn. – The 2011-12 Trinity College women’s squash team, coached by Wendy Bartlett (28th Season), broke the College record for wins with 17 against just four losses and won its sixth straight NESCAC Championship title.

Four Trinity Women's Squash Players Earn Post-Season Honors
Hartford, Conn., April 30, 2012 – Trinity College Bantam women's squash sophomore Catalina Pelaez (Bogota, Colombia) and senior co-captain Alicia Rodriguez (San Luis Potosi, Mexico) were each named to the 2012 College Squash Association (CSA) All-American Teams. Rodriguez was also one of three nominees for the Richey Award given annually to the senior women's squash player who best exemplifies the ideals of the sport in her love of and devotion to the game.

Amherst, Mass. - Trinity College junior Robyn Hodgson (Aberdeen, Scotland) won five matches before suffering a 3-2 loss to Yale's Shihiu Mao in the finals of the Holleran Division Tournament at the College Squash Association (CSA) Singles Championships this weekend at Amherst College. The Holleran Division features the collegiate players ranked No. 33 to No. 96 in a 64-player, single-elimination tournament.

South Hadley, Mass. - The Trinity College Bantams completed their 2011-12 regular season with a 9-0 road victory against the Mount Holyoke College Lyons this afternoon. Trinity improves to 15-3, while the Lyons fall to 16-9. Senior co-captain Kate Wymard (Radnor, Pa.) had the most dominant performance of the match, allowing just nine points in a 3-0 win at the No. 7 spot.

No. 3-ranked Trinity falls to 14-3 with its first loss in six matches, while No. 5-ranked Princeton improves to 9-3 with its third straight victory.
