Trinity Women's Swimming and Diving Flawless in Tri-Meet

Hartford, Conn. - Individuals from the Trinity College Bantams men's and women's swimming and diving teams finished first in 20 of 32 events as the women topped both the Elms College Blazers and the Mount Holyoke College Lyons in a tri-match this evening.
Sophomore Brooke Haynes (Franklin, Mass.) finished first in the 100-yard butterfly (1:03.31), the 50-yard butterfly (29.06), and the 100-yard IM (1:05.36) to lead the women to a 239.00 to 50.00 win over Elms and a 168.00 to 127.00 win over Mount Holyoke. First-year diver Kate Bress (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) took first in 3-meter diving (207.00) and on the 1-meter (218.47).
Sophomore Allison McBride (East Providence, R.I.) finished third in the 50-yard breaststroke (39.30) to lead the Elms women, while first-year Mary-Kate Miller (Cranford, N.J.), and first-year Lydia Bowers (Scotland, Conn.) combined for five first place finishes, and junior Lindsay Schonborn (Orinda, Calif.), four top-places, to lead the Mount Holyoke women.
