Trinity Women's Swimming & Diving Drops Two In Season-Opening Tri-Meet
Hartford, Conn. - Sophomore Brooke Haynes (Franklin, Mass.) came in second place in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:03.52 and freshman Kate Bress (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) was second in the three-meter diving with a score of 188.95, as the Trinity College Bantams opened the 2008-09 women's swimming and diving season with a home tri-meet against the Bates College Bobcats and the Wesleyan University Cardinals this afternoon. Trinity lost to Wesleyan, 221-78, and to Bates, 197-103, while the Cardinals downed the Bobcats, 179-119.
