Trinity Women's Swimming and Diving Team Falls to Wesleyan

Middletown, Conn. -  The Trinity women's swimming and diving team lost to NESCAC rival Wesleyan University today, despite strong individual performances for the Bantams.

First-year Shelby Friel (Weston, Mass.) won the women's 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:02.31, first-year Daisy Letendre (Florence, Mass.) finished first in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:13.64, and sophomore Kate Brees (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) took first in both the 1-meter (203.33) and 3-meter (220.87) diving events, as the women fell 120-95 to the Cardinals. 

Trinity women's swimming and diving team returns to action against Vassar College on Jan. 13 for a meet scheduled to being at 4 p.m.
