Trinity Women's Swimming and Diving Drops Two In Tri-Meet
New London, Conn. - The Trinity College Bantam women's swimming and diving team had some strong individual performances this afternoon at host Connecticut College in a tri-meet with the Camels and the Wheaton College Lyons, depite two losses. Connecticut College swept the afternoon, topping the men 198-91 and the women 205-88, and also topping Wheaton in both men's and women's action. In addition, the Wheaton women defeated Trinity 211-89.
Sophomore Kate Bress (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) took second in the 1-meter diving (213.35), junior Jillian Bargar (Andover, Mass.) placed second in the 3-meter diving (200.90), and first-year Shelby Friel (Weston, Mass.) took second in the 200-yard freestyle for the Bantams.
