Trinity Women's Swimming And Diving Finishes Dual Meet Schedule With Home Quad

Hartford, Conn. - Senior Eliza Maciag (West Hartford, Conn.) and first-year Katrina Trentos (Wiltn, Conn.) totaled three third-place finishes between them, as the Trinity College Bantams closed the 2016-17 dual-meet campaign with a home quad meet with the Connecticut College Camels, the Wellesley College Blue, and the Wheaton College Lyons this afternoon.  The Bantam took three losses, 227-35, to the Camels, 173-114, to Wellesley, and, 201-86, against the Lyons to finish 4-8 for the year after a 4-2 start. Connecticut College also downed Wellesley, 226-65, and Wheaton, 221-67, and Wheaton edged Wellesley, 165-133.

Maciag was third in both the 100- and 200-yard backstroke, while Trentos came 3rd in the 1,000-yard freestyle. Trinity first-year Audrey Ettinger (New Canaan, Conn) added a fifth-place performace in the 200-yard breaststroke and was seventh in the same stroke over 100 yards, and senior co-captain Brenna Weber (New Orleans, La.) finished her dual-meet career by placing fifth in the 100-yard butterfly.
