    Hartford, Conn. - The 2017-2018 Trinity College women's swimming and diving season was one to remember for the Bantams. In his fourth season, Head Coach Carlos Vega guided the Bantams to a ninth place finish at the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Women's Swimming and Diving Championships, the team's best finish since 2003, while numerous Bantams set new Trinity records throughout the year.

The Bantams, coached by Carlos Vega (4th season), have started the season strong and will host their first home meets this Friday, with the men's team challenging Wheaton and the women's team also facing Wheaton as well as Wellesley College.

    Clinton, N.Y. - First-year Samantha McStocker (Weston, Conn.) swept the backstroke events to lead the Trinity College Bantams to fifth place in the Hamilton College Women's Swimming and Diving Invitational this weekend at Bristol Pool.  Trinity totaled 438.5 points to settle in the exact middle of the team standings, over 100 points higher than sixth-place Mount Holyoke and 50.5 shy of fourth-place Oneonta State.
