Trinity Women's Tennis Loses To Tufts


Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College women's tennis dropped a 6-3 match against the visiting Tufts University Jumbos in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) women's tennis action this afternoon at Ferris Athletic Center.  Trinity falls to 7-3 overall and 0-1 in the NESCAC and Tufts, ranked No. 4 in the Northeast and No. 14 in the nation, improves to 3-1 overall and 3-0 in the league.  Sophomore Robyn Williams (Bulawayo, Zimbabwe) won in singles and doubles for the Bantams, while senior co-captain Sarah Gould (Longmeadow, Mass.) posted a 7-6, 6-4 triumph at No. 3 singles.
