Williams Women's Tennis Overpowers Trinity


Hartford, Conn. - The Williams College Ephs, ranked No. 1 in the nation, swept the Trinity College Bantams this afternoon with a 9-0 victory.  Sophomore Jillian Steckloff (Framingham, Mass.) split her set at the No. 5 spot while sophomore Robyn Williams (Bulawayo, Zimbabwe) was able to keep the match close at 7-5 and 6-1.  Trinity, ranked No. 10 in New England, snap a four game winning-streak, falling to 11-5 overall and 3-3 in the NESCAC.  Williams collects their third straight triumph, improving to 14-1 overall and 6-1 in the league.

Trinity will host MIT tomorrow at 1 p.m. in the final contect of the regular season.
