Trinity Women's Tennis Announces Fall Schedule
Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College women's tennis team, coached by Wendy Bartlett (28th Season), has announced its 2011-12 fall schedule. The Bantams finished the 2010-11 season with a 9-7 overall record and a 4-3 mark in the NESCAC, qualifying for the league championship tournament for the third straight season. The Bantams earned the No. 6 seed in the league tourney but lost to Tufts, 5-0, at Middlebury in the NESCAC First Round. The Bantams are scheduled to open the season with a home invitational on Sept 10 and 11, and will participate in both the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) and New England Women's Intercollegiate Tennis championship tournaments, and a doubles tournament at Middlebury. Trinity has one home match in the fall against Springfield, and a road match at Division I Holy Cross.
