Trinity Women's Tennis Players And Team Receive Academic And Sportsmanship Accolades
Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College women's tennis senior captain Kelsey Semrod (Princeton, N.J.) and sophomores Caroline Gagne (Excelsior, Minn.) and Elizabeth Gerber (Bronxvile, N.Y.) were all selected as 2011-12 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar Athletes, while the Bantam women's tennis squad received ITA All-Academic status for the 2011-12 campaign.

Medford, Mass. - The visiting Trinity College Bantams suffered a 7-2 loss to the Tufts University Jumbos, 7-2, in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) women's tennis regular-season finale for both teams this afternoon. Trinity finishes at 10-5 overall and 4-3 in the NESCAC, while the No. 13-ranked Jumbos improve to 8-9 overall and 4-4 in the league with their first win in five matches. Both teams should qualify for the NESCAC Championship Tournament next weekend.
