Trinity's Hoyt Repeats On All-NESCAC Women's Tennis Team

Hartford, Conn., July 23, 2012 –Trinity College women's tennis junior Hillary Hoyt (New York, N.Y.) was named to the New England Small College Athletic Conference All-Conference  Second Team as a singles player for the second year in a row.  The Bantams, coached by Wendy Bartlett (28th Season), were 10-6 overall and 4-3 in the NESCAC, closing the year with a 6-0 loss to Middlebury at Williams in the NESCAC Championship First Round.  The Bantams finished ranked No. 9 in the ITA Division III Northeast Regional Poll and No. 21 in the ITA Division III National Poll.  Hoyt was 11-6 as Trinity's top singles player and 10-13- in doubles play in 2010-11.  She was an All-NESCAC Second Team and a NESCAC All-Sportsmanship selection in 2011.  A graduate of Deerfield Academy, she is majoring in history and International Studies at Trinity.  She is daughter of Blair and Alexander Hoyt.
