Trinity Dumps No. 21-Ranked Babson In Women's Tennis Match

Wellesley, Mass. - Juniors Morgan Feldman (Upper Brookville, N.Y.) and Melita Ferjanic (Samobor, Croatia) won, 8-4, together in doubles and each won singles matches in straight sets, leading the Trinity College Bantams to a 6-3 victory over the Babson College Beavers in women's tennis action this afternoon at Wellesley College.  Trinity improves to 3-4 with its second victory in a row, while No. 21-ranked Babson drops to 15-6 with its second loss in as many matches.

Trinity swept doubles play by a combined score of 24-10, and freshman Vanja Babunski (Belgrade, Serbia) collected the sixth Bantam point with a 6-1, 6-4 victory at No. 3 singles.  Ferjanic won, 6-3, 6-1, at the top of the lineup, and Feldman dominated her opponent at No. 2 singles, 6-0, 6-0.
