Trinity Women's Tennis Blanked By Sewanee

Claremont, Calif. - The Trinity College Bantams suffered a 9-0 loss against the Sewanee University Tigers in women's tennis action this afternoon at Biszantz Family Tennis Center. Trinity drops to 1-1, while the No. 12-ranked Tigers improve to 8-5.  Sewanee took a 3-0 lead after doubles play and won four of six singles matches in straight sets.  Trinity senior captain Melita Ferjanic (Samobor, Croatia) and junior Vanja Babunski (Belgrade, Serbia) both won opening sets in singles play, before falling in the second set and the tiebreaker.
