Trinity Women's Tennis Loses Against Bates

Hartford, Conn. - Juniro co-captain Vanja Bubunski (Belgrade, Serbia) won at first singles and doubles, but the Trinity College Bantams dropped a 7-2 decision against the visiting Bates College Bobcats in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) women's tennis action this afternoon at Assaiante Center.  Trinity falls to 5-4 overall and 0-2 in the NESCAC, while Bates is now 4-10 overall and 2-4 in the league. Babunski and first-year Julia Brogan (Falmouth, Maine) blanked Maisie Silverman and Bella Stone, 8-0, at first doubles, and Babunski downed Silvernman, 6-4, 6-2, at first singles.
