Trinity Women's Tennis Blanked By Washington

Claremont, Calif. - The Trinity College Bantams dropped their first dual match of the 2016-17 season, 9-0, to the No. 11-ranked Washington University Bears this afternoon at Bisantz Tennis Center on the campus of the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges. The Bears improve to 4-4.  Junior Vanja Babunski (Belgrade, Serbia) and first-year Julia Brogan (Falmouth, Maine) put up a good fight against the No. 3-ranked doubles tandem in the nation, falling, 8-6, in the No. 1 spot to Rebecca Ho and Kaylan Griffith. The Bears won all six singles matches in straight sets.
