Aylmer and Lemire Win Races For Trinity Women's Indoor Track at Yale Meet
New Haven, Conn. - Freshman Reagan Aylmer won the mile run with a time of 5:41.64 and senior captain Alison Lemire took first in the 800 meters at 2:23.67, as the Trinity College Bantams opened the 2008-09 women's indoor track and field season in the Lidlifter Invitational at Yale University this afternoon.
Trinity took both first and second in the mile, as Gisell Harrington took second behind Aylmer with a time of 5:47.09. Allison Selby led the Trinity field in the 200-meter dash, placing 15th with a time of 28.27.
The Bantams will compete in the Wesleyan Invitational II after a break until Saturday, January 17.
