Trinity Women’s Track Finishes Seventh in Tufts Indoor Invitational
Medford, Mass. - Senior co-captain Alison Lemire (East Hartford, Conn.) came in second place in the women's 1000-meter run with a time of 3:01.70, as the Trinity College Bantams placed seventh in the Tufts Indoor Invitational this afternoon at the Gantcher Family Sports & Convocation Center.
Sophomore Monete Johnson (Dorchester, Mass.) and freshman Allison Selby (East Hartford, Conn.) each collected five points for the Bantams, respectively. Johnson placed fourth in the shot put with a distance of 11.02 m., while Selby took fifth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.21.
