Trinity's Lemire Sets 1,000-Meter Record in Boston
Boston, Mass. - Senior co-captain Alison Lemire (East Hartford, Conn.) set a new College record in the 1,000-meter run with a seventh-place time of 2:59.11, as the Trinity College Bantams competed in the Valentine Women's Indoor Track and Field Invitational at Boston University this afternoon. Lemire broke the previous Bantam record of 3:00.83, held by Christina Kane. Bantam freshmen Katlin Mock (Albany, N.Y.) and Reagan Aylmer (Moweaqua, Ill.) finished 70th at 5:25.56 and 82nd at 5:31.26, respectively, in the mile.
