Darnley Dusts Trinity Pole Vault Record At NESCAC Women's Track Meet
Lewiston, Maine - First-year Megan Darnley (Westborough, Mass.) finished 10th in the pole vault with a College-record cleared height of 9'06.25", as the Trinity College Bantams competed in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Bates College this afternoon. Darnley shattered her own Trinity record in the event by six inches. Classmate Jenna Wilborne (New Haven, Conn.) jumped 34'10" in the triple jump to finish ninth, just shy of scoring. Senior captain Katlin Mock (Albany, N.Y.) posted a time of 5:03.83 in the 1,500-meter run to take 13th place.
