Springfield, Mass. - Junior Jenna Wilborne (New Haven, Conn.) led the Trinity College Bantams to fourth place in a women's indoor track and field meet at Springfield College with a winning distance of 37'01.25" in the triple jump this afternoon. Trinity had 75 points to edge Springfield by two points and place 4.5 behind third-place Wheaton. Williams won the team title with 195 points.
Bantam first-year Cassandra Cronin (Londonderry, N.H.) added a second-place time of 19:15.44 in the 5,000-meter run, followed by sophomore Abigail Barrett (Hingham, Mass.) in fourth place and senior captain Catherine O'Connell-Stingi (Manhasset, N.Y.) in sixth place. Trinity junior pole vaulter Megan Darnley (Westborough, Mass.) was second with a height cleared of 10'06.00", and classmate Julia Rubano (Madison, Conn.) was fourth in the triple jump at 34'04.75".
