Trinity's Wilborne Wins ECAC Women's Indoor Long Jump Crown

New York, N.Y. - Senior tri-captain Jenna Wilborne (New Haven, Conn.) won the long jump and finished fourth in the triple jump, as the Trinity College Bantams tied St. John Fisher and Utica for 22nd place in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships this weekend at the New York City Armory.  

Wilborne won the long jump by 4.25 inches with a distance of 18'05.25" and her fourth-place triple jump distance of 37'08.75" was 5.25 inches shy of the winner.  Trinity's 4x800-meter relay foursome earned an 11th-place time of 9:54.64, while its 4x200-meter quartet was 16th at 1:46.98.  Also this weekend, Bantam rookie Morgan Sullivan (Hingham, Mass.) added a fourth-place time of 2:18.89 at the Tufts University Last Chance Meet.
