  • Marlow-Benedick Breaks Second College Record in as Many Weekends at New England Championships

    Springfield, Mass. - Sophomore Katie Marlow-Benedick (Weston, Mass.) broke the Trinity College 60-meter dash record and collected All-New England honors in three events to highlight the Trinity College women's indoor track and field team's outing at the Division III New England Championships on Saturday afternoon at Springfield College.

    Hartford, Conn. - As the winter sports season heads down the home stretch, this year's 21st Bantams of the Week have been named, thanks to their strong performances on the track and wrestling mat. Women's indoor track and field sophomore Katie Marlow-Benedick (Weston, Mass.) and junior wrestler Mason Sangillo (Florham Park, N.J.) have been named as the Bantams of the Week.

    Boston, Mass. - The Trinity College women's track and field squad competed at MIT's Gordon Kelly Invitational on Saturday afternoon in Boston. First-year Emma Casey (Scituate, Mass.) and junior Avery Hayes (Methuen, Mass.) finished 10th and 11th, respectively, in the mile run, separated by less than a second.

    Middletown, Conn. - Sophomores Samantha Feenstra (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) and Nina Bourgeois (Rochester, Mass.) finished 1-2 in the won the 3,000-meter run, as the Trinity College Bantams competed in the Wesleyan University Women's Indoor Track and Field Meet this afternoon at Wesleyan-Bacon Field House. 
  • Two Trinity Runners Compete In New England Women's Indoor Track And Field Championships

    Roxbury Crossing, Mass. - Sophomore Anna Barnes (Storrs, Conn.) finished 17th in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:19.21 and classmate Katie Marlow-Benedick (Weston, Mass.) was 21st in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.45, representing the Trinity College Bantams in the New England Open Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships this afternoon at the Reggie Lewis Track and Field Center.

Women's indoor track and field junior Anna Barnes (Storrs, Conn.) and junior men's hockey forward Mark Knowlton (Colorado Springs, Colo.) have been named as the Bantams of the Week.

After Saturday's impressive performance, the team returns to action on February 2nd for the start of the New England Open Championships at the Reggie Lewis Center in Roxbury, Mass.

    Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College cross country and track and field programs have announced the hiring of Michael Goulet as the team's new assistant coach for the fall of 2017. Goulet, a 2011 graduate of the college, joins the coaching staff after coaching for four years at the high school level in nearby Hebron.
