Trinity Volleyball Sweep Pine Manor and Clark
Worcester, Mass. - Junior Molly Ullman (Studio City, Calif.) totaled 19 kills and freshman Jennifer Low (San Francisco, Calif.) added 71 assists to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a pair of 3-0 wins over the Pine Manor College Gators and the Clark University Cougars in a volleyball tri-match this afternoon at Clark. Trinity improves to 13-10.
Ullman had 11 kills and low had 36 assists, while senior Emily Borsting (Portland, Oregon) made quick work of Pine Manor, 25-9, 25-17, and, 25-19. Borsting led the way against Clark with nine kills, while Ullman made eight kills, and sophomore Kristen Anderson (West Haven, Conn.) added seven kills. Low contributed 35 assists, fellow rookie Sarah Blagden (Charleston, S.C.) notched 18 digs, and senior Lisa Esposito (Pound Ridge, N.Y.) recorded five blocks. Trinity won the first game against Clark, 25-15, edged the Cougars in the second game, 28-26, and took the third game, 25-18.
